​It will be adjusted depending on the number of participants, but awards will be given up to 10th place. The scholarship will be related to the Bolshoi Ballet Academy.

[Judging divisions and participation fees]

​

There will be three judging divisions:

- Variation category

- Character dance category

- Ensemble category (pas de deux also possible)

​

*For the women's variation section, Group A must wear ballet shoes, Group B can wear ballet shoes or pointe shoes, and Group C and D must wear pointe shoes.

​

Audition/master class participation fee:15,000 yen

*Those who are not participating in the competition can also participate. Those who wish to audition or receive a scholarship for the Summer Intensive should attend this course.​

​

Competition entry fee　

1 category: 30,000 yen

1 categories + audition/master class: 45,000 yen

2 categories: 45,000 yen

2 categories + audition/master class: 55,000 yen

3 categories: 50,000 yen

3 categories + audition/master class: 60,000 yen

Direct feedback from judges immediately after screening: Additional 5,000 yen *Interpreter included for each screening

Competition general admission fee: 2,000 yen /1 day *Please purchase tickets on the day

[Costume]

For those participating in the competition, please prepare the costumes for the stage. For the character dance section, you can wear costumes or black leotards and black skirts.

​

[Music]

・The maximum length of music is 2.5 minutes for the Variation and Character Dance categories and 3 minutes for the Ensemble Judging category.

・If you do not have your own sound source for the Character dance category, you can contact the organizer who provide one. You can lesten musics below on this page.

・Prepare 1 CD-ROM and submit it at the reception on the day of your entry.

・Each participant prepares two CDs (one for the performance and the other for the back-up).
・Record only one piece of music onto the CD, and set it to start from the top as it begins.

・Write down the following onto your CD-ROM and its hard case:

    1) bib number 2) participant’s name 3) name of the performance piece 4) stage appearance 5) the cue

・Do not put any sticker to the CD-ROM which may cause the trouble to the sound device.

・If the participant comes with the music to the stage, his/her teacher or attendant needs to give the cue to the sound operator. Please talk with the stage manager about this cue when dress rehearsal.

・Sound needs to be either audio CD, WAV, or PM3. We do not accept CD-RW or DVD.

・Please make sure to check playback on multiple devices (CD players, etc.) in advance. Disqualified if it does not play properly.

[Participation Terms/Disclaimer] *Please be sure to read the following.

・Please apply by filling out all of the requirements. After the application, any change of music, stage appearance and sound cue is only acceptable only once until May 10, 2024. We do not accept the change on the day of the event.

 

・Cancellation fees after application will be as follows. If a refund is required, the refund fee will be deducted.
Until April 30, 2023 [50% of the amount paid]
After May 1, 2024 [100% of the amount paid]​

・As a general rule, the document will be sent to the school to which you belong.

​​

・Please understand that the photos and videos taken at the workshop, competition judging will be posted on websites related to Bolshoi Grandprix, Russian Ballet International, Shibuya Art Project LLC, or related SNS.

・Please come to the venue at the time of registration that we announce for each participant.​ ​

​​

・Contestant/Instructor passes must be carried in the dressing rooms at all times. No one without a pass will be allowed to enter the dressing rooms.

​

・Please keep your valuables at your own risk. The organizers, sponsors, and venues are not responsible for any theft, loss, accident, injury, illness, or viral infection that may occur at the venue, including the parking lot. All such problems are the sole responsibility of, or to be resolved between, the parties involved.

・Please do not leave any trash at the venue.

​

・The government has announced that it will "respect the individual's independent choice and leave the wearing of masks to the individual's judgment" regarding the concept of wearing masks after March 13, 2023. https://www.mhlw.go.jp/stf/seisakunitsuite/bunya/kansentaisaku_00001.html
